Ontario Medal for Ted Jackson
On November 16, 2009, Dr. Ted Jackson received the Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship. The award was conferred by the Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, at Queen’s Park in Toronto. The citation for Dr. Jackson recognized his work in bringing universities and communities together to address economic and social challenges, and for building the capacity of more than 200 non-profit organizations across Ontario to better serve citizens and strengthen key policies. Sulley Gariba Appointed Presidential Advisor
